Established in 2001, MCAST is the country’s leading vocational education and training institution With its six Institutes in Malta and the Gozo Campus, MCAST responds to the needs of the individual and the local economy by offering over 190 full-time courses and over 300 part-time vocational courses ranging from certificates to Doctoral level (MQF Level 1 to Level 8).
MCAST is engaging to invest in oceanography both academically through dedicated courses, and in research mode by engaging its academics in joint international collaborative funded projects.

In the STREAM he serves as a data engineer and contributes to developing data workflows to automate data harnessing and its elaboration into added-value products within the project digital platform.
Deltares is an independent knowledge institute for applied research in the field of water and subsurface. Deltares develops data services based on satellite data and our models, collecting data worldwide. We develop some of these services as part of the European Copernicus programme. Deltares combines its expert system knowledge with its capacity for complex data processing and analysis into Earth Observation (EO) services to produce valuable information on the status and the possible future of water and land systems. Deltares EO downstream services are being setup for various clients (public and private entities) in the framework of service contracts as well as national and/or European research projects in the following fields: Water quality assessment and monitoring, Marine and coastal surveillance, Crisis/damage mapping, Risk/vulnerability mapping.
